Parley First School Choir at St Mark's Mothering Sunday celebration
A joyful Mothering Sunday service took place in a packed St Mark's where the congregation was joined by the wonderful choir of Parley First School. Under the guiding hand of teacher Kate Hawker, the 25-strong choir thrilled the congregation with their rendition of What A Wonderful World and the applause that followed rang out loud and long. The St Mark's Singers' contribution was a John Rutter anthem, Look At The World. Following the service, which was led by the Rector Charles Booth and Rev Sheila Thomas, flowers were distributed throughout the congregation by the school choristers and refreshments were provided in the church hall.
