Christmas Services and Celebration:
Saturday 14th December 6pm at All Saints', Church Lane, BH22 BTR: Informal Christmas Carol Singalong with mulled wine and mince pies. Parking at Southfields, Church Lane.
Sunday 22nd December 6pm at St. Mark's, 250 New Road, BH22 8EW: Traditional Service of Lessons and Carols by Candlelight with St. Mark's Singers with refreshments following
Tuesday 24th December 3pm at St. Mark's: Crib & Crib - A Christmas Celebration for all the family Continue the celebrations afterwards with refreshments in the Church Hall
Tuesday 24th December 10pm at St. Mark's: 'Nearly' Midnight Mass - the traditional First Communion of Christmas by Candlelight
Wednesday 25th 9.30am at All Saints': Christmas Morning Communion with Carols Sherry and mince pies to follow. Parking at Church Farm
Lent, Holy Week and Easter
Our worship pattern during this season is planned afresh every year, but always includes
Ash Wednesday: 10.00am St Marks - Holy Communion with Imposition of Ashes
Palm Sunday: 10.00am Procession of palms around boundary of St Marks followed by enactment of the Passion
6.00pm St Marks Singers - Devotional music
Maundy Thursday: 7.30pm St Marks - A Eucharist of the Last Supper with washing of feet
Good Friday: 9.00am 1½ mile Procession of the Cross from All Saints to St Marks. This is followed by the Good Friday Liturgy starting at 11.00am
Easter Sunday: 6.00am Ceremony of Light at dawn in the churchyard at All Saints followed by the Eucharist
10.00am Family Eucharist at St Mark
6.00pm All Saints - Evensong
Ascension Day: 7.30pm St Marks - The Eucharist
Harvest Festival (1st Sunday in October) : 10.00 am St Marks followed by Harvest Lunch in hall
All Souls (1st Sunday in November) : 4.00pm St Marks 'For those we love but see no longer' . A Service of Commemoration followed by refreshments in the hall
